As the winter chill sets in, it's the perfect time to cosy up with a great book. Help spread the warmth by promoting the WinterReads collection to your community.
About WinterReads
During the month of August, a selection of great reads will be available on indyreads with no waiting. With titles from a range of genres including crime, romance, classics, science fiction and fantasy, there is something for everyone.
Promote these titles to your library members – someone looking for something new to try, your library book clubs, those looking for their next winter read, or anyone completing winter reading challenges at your library.
The titles are:

- The ones we love by Anna Snoekstra
- All the perfect days by Michael Thompson
- The war of the worlds by H.G. Wells
- Jilya : how one Indigenous woman from the remote Pilbara transformed psychology by Tracy Westerman
- Swallow the air by Tara June Winch
- Skysong by C.A. Wright.
The titles will be available in a dedicated WinterReads carousel from 1-31 August, with unlimited simultaneous use licences.
How to promote WinterReads 2025
Promote WinterReads to your community from 1-31 August 2025 using the resources below.
- print and display the posters in your library
- use the digital signage on your library screens
- share the images and suggested posts on your social media to promote the WinterReads titles.
Poster
There are two posters that can be printed in A4 for display in your library. Each poster has a different selection of the titles available. You can add your library logo next to the State Library logo.
Digital signage
There are two portrait and three landscape images are available for use in your library's digital screens. Each image has a different selection of the titles available. You can add your library logo next to the State Library logo.
Social media
Share the images and suggested posts provided on your social media accounts. You can add your library logo next to the app store logos.

There are a variety of social media images for you to use:
- two general tiles with all the titles
- five genre tiles
- 15 tiles with each individual cover.
