As the winter chill sets in, it's the perfect time to cosy up with a great book. Help spread the warmth by promoting the WinterReads collection to your community.
About WinterReads
During the month of August, a selection of great reads will be available on indyreads with no waiting. With titles from a range of genres including crime, romance, classics and science fiction, there is something for everyone.
Promote these titles to your library members – someone looking for something new to try, your library book clubs, those looking for their next winter read, or anyone completing winter reading challenges at your library.
The titles are:

- Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
- Without a Trace by Susannah Glenn
- Time Travel for Beginners by Jaclyn Moriarty
- The Odyssey by Homer
- Rumour Has It by Karly Lane
- No God But Us by Bobuq Sayed
- Daughters of the Stone by Alexandra Walsh
- The Society of Literary Marauders by Sasha Wesley
- The Boundary by Nicole Watson
- Sound Mind Dead Body by Dave Warner
- O'Keefe by David Whish-Wilson.
The titles will be available in a dedicated WinterReads carousel from 1-31 August, with unlimited simultaneous use licences.
How to promote WinterReads 2026
Promote WinterReads to your community from 1-31 August 2026 using the resources below. There are general promotional images available, as well as ‘Try something new…’ resources featuring book covers and brief prompts to spark curiosity and help readers discover new titles.
- print and display the posters in your library
- use the digital signage on your library screens
- share the images and suggested posts on your social media to promote the WinterReads titles.
Poster
There is a poster with the selection of titles that can be printed in A4 or A3 for display in your library. You can add your library logo next to the State Library logo.
Digital signage
There are portrait and landscape images are available for use in your library's digital screens. You can add your library logo next to the State Library logo.
Social media
Share the images and suggested posts provided on your social media channels. You can add your library logo next to the app store logos.
Images
There are a variety of images for you to use on your social media channels:
- general images with all the titles (one image for Facebook and two images for Instagram)
- 12 images with each individual cover
- 12 images with each individual cover with the heading 'Try something new' and a brief prompt for each title
