Public Internet Access Terminals (PCs)
Since its inception in 1997 one of the principal objectives of NSW.net has been the supply and distribution of Public Internet Access Terminals (PCs).
Seven hundred PCs were purchased and distributed to metropolitan and country public libraries throughout NSW during 2001 - 2002.
Some of the features of these PCs included:
- Access to the fonts of the top 30 languages used in NSW
- Inclusion of disability access software known as Zoomtext and peripherals such as a mouse and touch-screen.
